We provide almost everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, including fresh linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, soap, garbage bags, coffee, and a few rolls of paper towels and toilet paper to get you started. Make sure to bring clothes that are suitable to the weather and your cosmetics. If you forget something, there are general stores conveniently located near all of our properties.

In order to secure your dates as early as possible, please contact us directly. We usually have our calendars up 12 months in advance. Both Milwaukee and Door County get 100% booked up in the summer and fall, so it’s best to plan a year out if possible.

We do not allow any guests that are not on the reservation, even if they are not staying the night. This is mostly due to safety reasons and being respectful to our neighbors. Some of our properties have septic tanks that can cause major issues which is why we need to limit the number of guests. We do have 24/7 security cameras on our front door, side door, front yard, back yard, deck, and our garage. We have better things to do than spy on our guests - these cameras are simply in place in safety reasons.
-
Unfortunately our rates are non-negotiable out of respect for all of our guests. We do not give preferential treatment to one guest over another, so we want to be fair to everyone that chooses to book their dream vacation with us. We do have promotions quite often, but you need to be a newsletter subscriber in order to get these special discounts, so sign up here!
-
While we love our furry friends, unfortunately, we have a strict no pet policy due to many people having allergies to animals. If you are interested in bringing your pet along, we do know of a pet sitter that we could recommended.
-
We realize there are unpredictable events that can get in the way of your vacation. For this reason, we highly recommend every Guest purchase trip insurance separately.
If a Guest needs to cancel their reservation, 80% of the base rental amount will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. If the cancellation is made within 30 days of the arrival date, the base rental amount will not be refunded.
-
For reasons outlined above, we do not allow any events, parties, or small weddings at the property out of respect for our neighbors and due to the capacity of our septic tanks. We strictly enforce these rules.
-
We have strict 10pm-6am quiet hours in place which follows local municipality laws. This is also out of courtesy for our neighbors who have small children and babies, and are working professionals that need valuable sleep at night.
-
Check-In is at 4pm and Check-Out is at 10am.
You can always reach out to Kayla and see if an early check in time is available. It will depend on our calendar and if we have additional cleaners available to speed up the cleaning. A charge of $40 will be applied to compensate for the additional cleaner.
Door County FAQs
-
While the bay of Green Bay is much more protected and desirable to swim in compared to Lake Michigan, there is always the possibility of high wind, waves, current and undertow. Please use your best judgment before swimming and make sure you are a strong swimmer before jumping in!
-
Directions and an address will be provided to you prior to your arrival date.
VERY IMPORTANT: for our Door County Paddler on the Bay property, make sure to download an “offline map” on your phone in Google Maps prior to traveling. There are quite a few dead spots in Door County, so it’s important to download these offline maps before traveling to ensure you are able to navigate to the property in case you lose your cellular signal.
